Business Brands; The Branding of Hezbollah Case Study

Posted on June 3rd, 2008 in Branding by admin

The young man who is running Hezbolla in Lebanon has told CNN news that he does not want his organization to be called an international terrorist group anymore. Of course I say how does it feel to Want? What are we supposed to call them? I got to thinking about this and doing a little brainstorming and I came up with a few ideas and if you are an International Terrorist Organization member you probably will not like them.

If an organization is an international terrorist group then I am not sure what you’re supposed to call it. The leader of Hezbollah has failed to market his Brand Name correctly. In brand marketing it is well known that if you fail to market your brand correctly then your competition will label it for you. Israel says that Hezbollah is an International Terrorist Organization. And that name has stuck because it is very descriptive and makes sense.

The leader of Hezbolla when asked by CNN what Hezbollah should be called; he only indicated that he believed that Hezbollah was a social movement and not an organization. But in reality the ambassador to Lebanon said this and that leads me to believe that the young man who is running Hezbolla is not very smart because he is using other people’s words and cannot think for himself, which is actually good to know that you have an inferior enemy who is unable to think for himself and is unfit to lead his own people.

This social movement they describe does not really exist you see. In that case he is the leader of and lacks manhood. So should we call Hezbolla a; Murderous Group of Suicide Bombers of nobodies signifying nothing from nowhere? Suffice it to say that anyone aligns themselves with Hezbollah is headed for a fall, which is interesting in itself because it did make TV exciting for the first week, now many are getting bored with it all. We need a new conflict to keep the media attention and ratings up. Hezbollah rhetoric is getting old and their leadership and soldiers are not long for this world. This shows a decline in customer popularity of their brand.

Hezbollah claims to have 1500 guerrilla war fighters on the border of Israel and Lebanon. Is Hezbollah an army? Is Hezbollah an international terrorist organization? Is Hezbollah a day care center for malcontents and criminals? If Hezbollah is not in international terrorist organization then can someone please tell me what it is so I do not make a mistake in all these articles that I’m writing? What is Hezbollah? I mean my dog pooped in the yard today and I had to go pick it up and I know that was Dog Mess. So what is Hezbollah?
